A strong start, but we want more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re looking to review proposals and finalise the schedule soon, so if you\u2019ve been thinking about speaking, get your application in. First-time speakers are welcome &#8211; mentorship and support are available if you want help shaping your talk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volunteer interest has been huge. People are ready, excited, and keen to get their hands dirty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll share more closer to the time. Most roles are on the day itself, so we need to lock down the schedule, sponsors, and speakers first. Once those are in place, we\u2019ll come back with clearer details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ve had interest from a mix of corporates, freelancers, and smaller supporters &#8211; and we\u2019re in talks to get agreements signed before announcing anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That said, we still need more sponsors to come on board. Sponsorship is what keeps tickets accessible and covers the practical costs of a full WordCamp day. If your company (or you as a freelancer) can help, we\u2019d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We\u2019re excited.
