Kofi Mokome is a WordPress developer, plugin creator, and educator from Cameroon. He has built and maintained WordPress plugins, spoken at WordCamps across Africa, and helped developers learn how to build and extend WordPress through practical, hands-on education.
Kofi is the author of the Message Filter for Contact Form 7 and SMS Extension for Contact Form 7 plugins, and is a co-organizer of the Buea WordPress Meetup in Cameroon.
An active contributor to the WordPress ecosystem, he contributes to the Plugin Check plugin and the GatherPress project, and serves as a mentor with the WPCredits initiative. His current interests include AI-powered development, agentic software, and building tools that make WordPress more powerful while keeping it accessible to everyone.
